June 30

Fulfilling my Grand Tour of Severna Park today by making sure to stop by ALL the places that I can't visit anywhere out in Oklahoma!

...

Which mostly just consisted of a bunch of food stops...

AND seeing the Fault in Our Stars where it was established once again that I do indeed have a heart of stone.

All in all a very successful last full day in the United States for the next two weeks!!!

June 29

Oh how fantastic and wonderful it is to be back in Severna Park!!! This is only the beginning of a wicked fabulous next two weeks of Barnard time!

You're only a day away!

...now if only I could finish packing my suitcase...

June 27

HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO MY WONDERFUL AND AMAZING MOTHER!!!
She's one of the happiest, most loving, dramatic, amazing, kind, beautiful, awesome, funny, and talented people that I know!
I love you Mom!!!

June 26

Family time is the best time! :)

This has been a fantastic week spent with fantastic people! I will definitely miss our time at Table Rock Lake!

Until next time Missouri.

June 25

Where happiness overflows!

We may have to work on our counting skills...but the amount of laughter filling this house could brighten even the worst of days! Not that we're having terrible days! No! This place is BEAUTIFUL!!! And us Trews have a tendency to make the best fun in any and every location when we're all together!

June 24

In celebration of all the Trew June birthdays, a mandatory group picture! ;) Who would have guessed that Emma would be the one with a camera in everyone's face all week long!?!

Happy Birthday Sam, Jonathan, Jackson, Aunt Jen, and Mom!!!
Happy June!!

June 23

It actually happened!!! After two and a half years all 17 Trews are back under the same roof again!!!

Celebrating Rawli and Potch's 50th anniversary together at the coolest place!!!

June 22

The fantastic car cleaners in preparation for the BIG family vacation that begins TOMORROW!!!

June 21

California Cousin Cornhole Competition!

Summertime is the best time! It's almost time to be with the entire Trew Crew!!!

June 20

Phase one of the Trew Family Summer Vacation is officially underway. The Tahoe Trew boys made it to Tulsa! Let the fun cousin time begin in three, two...

June 19

Oh. My. Gosh.

It's only my all time favorite Broadway musical ever right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. No biggie.

The PAC may not have been the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, but the stage and the sets were still super amazing! Even my heart of stone got weak as the show began! Wicked will always have a special place in my heart and I'm so thankful that we were able to see it again this evening!

June 18

It's obvious how excited Megan is that we're going to Italy oh so very soon! ;)

It's the third Wednesday of the month, the perfect time to make up our First Friday of June!

Get excited! It's almost time to go to Italy!!!

June 17

My view today as both Bess and I worked in the office...

Bess was super productive, she's really gotten the hang of flying through this online school...

Emma not quite as productive...(oh well...)

June 16

That's it.

I spend too much time in our theatre.

Bess and I have successfully gotten Mom hooked on Once Upon a Time. It's fantastic! :)

June 15

Celebrating the perfect Daddy for our family today. He's the Apple enthusiast and always puts up with my desire to find an appropriate picture of the day for the specific occasion.

He's a secret agent man, so whatever you do, don't crack a smile! ;)

I love you Daddy!

June 14

Who says spring cleaning can't happen in the middle of June (hey I am a procrastinator, am I not!?!)

My fantastic madre and I successfully emptied my dresser and closet of all the clothes from 3 years ago that I never wear! Now, what do I have left the pack for Italy??? Hmmmm....

June 13

What better or more appropriate way to spend Friday the 13th than with this fantastic group of people!?! I can't believe it's been since the last day of school that we've all been together but after tonight, I have hope that this will not be the end of the French group. I never cease to be amazed by the ways that these people can twist and turn a conversation but it is something that I have grown to miss (now that school is out).

To all of you, thanks for being you!

June 12

I tried so hard to not get pulled along with the bandwagon that is The Fault in Our Stars, but I failed.

I'm on the bandwagon.

June 11

Tonight for one night only, Emma Trew will come out of retirement to participate in Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education's beginners adult ballet class.

WOW. Ballet is hard!

It was fun to see that I did end up making a good decision to end my career in the ballet world when I did! ;) However, this class was advertised as a beginners level class and having danced for 13 years in my past, it was NOT taught at a beginners level. And wow! These TBCDE students really know what they're doing! They're AMAZING!

Now back to my little hole of behind the scenes action. I'll leave the dancing to these aspiring professionals.

June 10

Hello awesome new phone. It's nice to meet you :)

June 9

But alas, laziness must not find itself into our household! As people head back to work and summer dance classes begin, I am left alone to work on my own little projects just me and my trusty computer. I could say I was productive all day...but we all know that's far from true! One of these days MAYBE I'll get a handle on my procrastination...maybe.

June 8

Home again, sweet home again.

After a 14 hour drive back to Bixby, it's always good to be able to settle back into our house just the four of us. Will it actually begin to feel like summer mentally now that we're back at home, without having school on our brains all the time? It's time to truly embrace the laziness for at least a couple of days before the next adventure begins!

June 7

Our "Moo-Runners" battling it out as they approach the finish line.

We need more cowbell!

They really did have little cowbells on their shoes.

Welcome to Athens, Tennessee y'all ;)

June 6

We attempted Mayfield's again with Camille...

Not nearly as unfortunate as the first time, but she is much more interested in running around and seeing all the people than she is with the ice cream (I mean, she can have ice cream any day, but this is a new location that must be explored!).

One day Camille, you will appreciate the importance of our Grantch time at Mayfield's! ;)

June 5

She's baaaaaack!

Welcome to Camp G&G, Sweet Girl!!!

June 4

My Grantch is better than your Grantch.

Actually...he's the only Grantch (probably)

So I guess that makes him even more special!

June 3

You really shouldn't sit around and do nothing for an entire week. You'll get into the habit of nothingness and then you may never do anything productive again! *gasp*

So, to be productive today, Bess and I were tasked with washing the outdoor furniture out by the pool. But of course, Bess was pulled away from the pool and I (despite the hose and the foreboding clouds in the sky) couldn't resist the urge to bring my camera out to document our "productivity".

Yes. We did manage to wash off the furniture...but we also may have had a little too much fun with the hose (and by "we" I mean "me").

It's summer! We're on vacation! Everything must be made into a dance party at any and all moments of the day!

June 2

Bess in her element.

As week two in Tennessee begins, so starts our time in Athens with Gram and Grantch. Camp G&G has become the place of ultimate relaxation and chill time in Tennessee. It's fantastic!

Athens may be one of the best places to immerse yourself in an Agatha Christie novel...until you realize that you're in an incredibly old house and it's dark and you probably should stick with reading the latest celebrity gossip at midnight to prevent a sleepless night. ;)

June 1

We were not accidentally put together. God had a plan when he placed the five of us in the same family. The fact that we have been together for an entire week and could easily stay together for longer shows that we Trew's have a special bond. I love how different we all are, yet remain such close and awesome friends no matter the separation time or amount of time spent together. I love being able to be free and open with each other whether it be singing extremely loudly in the car as we drive through Etowah (we're going to be famous, I'm telling you!), playing Black Jack for the upteenth time, watching the most random selection of movies, the ability to actually carry on a conversation about topics that I don't even know where they came from (we discussed the differentiation of Baptists and Southern Baptists on our 20ish minute trip to Athens), and being able to laugh at ourselves with each other. Laughter is one of the most powerful attitude adjusters and spending a great deal of the day laughing will make the most fantastic summer memories.

I am so thankful for my long-distance brothers and sister (copyright-Jonathan). They will forever be some of my very favorite people!
