I've never been a part of a studio audience for a podcast until tonight.
Servecast tonight put on a night talking about social justice and benevolence with Dr. Mike Hayes and a student panel. It was cool to hear from them as they talked about how we should engage in what's going on around us and not sit around waiting on someone else to fix the mess.
Here's on thing that really stuck with me, "You will never not be broken" so you must take your brokenness and use it to help others around you who are also experiencing brokenness. We can't sit around and wait to suddenly be complete and perfect to then be able to do something to enact a change, because then nothing would ever get done, but if we take our stories and foster them into relationships with others then that's where the real change can begin to take shape.
