I am an Apple person. This can be solely and completely blamed on my Apple junkie father. But I enjoy being a part of an Apple family. It has helped bring out one of my favorite things to do, which is to work on super secret projects. The technology that is available today is amazing. I personally can't imagine life without things like MacBooks, FaceTime, or super secret project software but that is because I only know of life with these advancements. My AP Language (English) class was talking last week about the importance of technology versus the importance of nature. We were asked which one we thought was more important and came to a consensus that we need a balance of both nature and technology to thrive in today's world. It makes me think about the giant ball in Epcot. The future that that ride projects consists of people being able to see each other while they are on the phone (or at least that's how it ended the last time I was at Disney World) and this is no longer something that can be imagined in the future. (speaking of Disney World....)
Today I am thankful for living in the future with the technological advancements that we have available at our fingertips. Even though technology can drive people (including myself) crazy...
