January 29

J'adore ma classe de français! J'aime ma prof de français et les élèves de ma classe. C'est le meilleur moment de mon jour à l'école presque tous les jours.

The past couple of weeks (I'm pretty sure this is what we've been doing for the entire semester so far...so like 3 or 4 weeks) we have been on my teachers' newly created lesson on Martinique. Let me just say....Martinique is beautiful! We discuss this often while we look at pictures of everything there is to see on this French Caribbean island. Let's take a class trip to Martinique!

We have our test tomorrow and so I (being the studious student I am) decided it would be a good idea to rewrite EVERYTHING we have on Martinique to study. But I color coded it so it's interesting to study from. Today in class to study we played charades. CHARADES! We were divided into teams and I actually benefited from the game in more ways than I thought I would. I will now remember many of the vocabulary words from the actions that certain people would use to act out the words and I will definitely remember the word that I got when I had to go up to the front of the room and FROZE. (I know...you're thinking "What? Emma? Freeze in front of a classroom? No!" But yes...) However my team was able to guess what I was trying to act out even though the exact definition had completely escaped my mind at that exact moment in time. (GOSH EMMA GET OVER YOU'RE STRANGE FRONT OF CLASSROOM FEAR!)

Have I mentioned how much j'adore this class? I mean...rewriting all of my vocabulary and the key points from my notes didn't even seem like studying/difficult homework. I know. I'm a nerd...but at least I can admit it freely.
