And you will be happy to hear that I did, in fact, go outside today!!! We took a family hike around Turkey Mountain this afternoon in the 70 degree Tulsa air. It was mine and Bess's first time to Turkey Mountain and it was packed full of people who all had the same idea as us, that today was a good day to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors on this warm January day. But we found a parking spot and ventured out into the trail through the mountain. It was really beautiful out there. Hey you people that don't live here! You should come visit me and we can go do fun touristy stuff around Tulsa and enjoy the view of our mid-sized city from the top of the only mountain in the entire state. (that may or may not be an exaggeration)

We got fresh air and exercise. Enough exercise for me to be able to say with no regrets that it was okay to eat Chipolte for lunch and Chinese takeout for dinner. (not that that would have bothered me anyway...)
